In Cu Mgar, Daklak and almost Vietanm’s Central Highlands, where the coffee are native, the blooming season is during the lunar new year’ s period ( end of Jan to early Feb).
Blossoms are flowers produced on the coffee plants. Normally, after the night-rain, the coffee gardens turn into the white color of blossoms next morning. Highlanders say, snows in the tropics.
Numbers of families use sprinklers – irrigation system, still, natural rainfall provides more moisture for bumper blooming season.
White clusters – flowers run amongst dark green leaves and the blossom is fragrant, reminiscent of the gardenia scent. In season, it scents the neighborhood, awakes ones at late of the night. The scents turn heavy and annoying as ones walking/working/ in the gardens/ farms.
Bee time!
During the spring time, there are cool winds, sunny, some days with blowing dusts and fresh blue skies. Personally, highlands coffee blooming season is time for family, friends, nature & green close-up, slow life and creations.
