Son Tra Peninsula, The Oceanic Forests Lullaby,

Located over 10 kms from the downtown of Danang, Son Tra Peninsula ( known as  Tien Sa, Monkey mountain) comprises of 4,370 hectares (forest area 2.591ha) of sub-tropical vegetation lies cradled between three granitic mountains’ ranges.

Primary forest on the peninsula where the two exchanges flora and fauna typical of the South – North, including 298 species of 271 high-cost, 90 them, 64 large timbers, 107 valuable medicinal plants and many varieties orchids. Best known is the unique vegetation, tropical plant genetic resources of Son Tra is diverse and rich.

Thanks to marvelous beaches, abundant forests, amazing mountains, peaceful fishing village and easy access, Son Tra Peninsula newly marked it name as favorite site for beach, forest and zen lovers, after centuries.

With selective pictures from years, I would love to share you the forest stories in a hope calling for our care to the green and wild life there.
